to make memories
Sterling Strings ended up being one of the most special parts of our wedding day. We got hitched in Philly but live in NYC, so having a piece of NY with us on the day was lovely, and if you're going to have any piece of NY with you, Sterling Strings is it. They played for both our ceremony and cocktail hour and not only was the quartet beautiful, energetic, and balanced - they were SO memorable. We are still receiving compliments about how amazing the strings were and what a heartfelt touch they put on the evening. I walked down the aisle with my parents to their wedding song (Can't Help Falling in Love) and exit with the wedding party to one of our favorite songs (Hold on, We're Going Home). The mix of classical, oldies, and contemporary was perfect and it was enjoyed by everyone there. Working with Eric to plan the songs for the night was wonderful - he is so kind, accommodating, and wants to ensure the music is everything you dreamed of. And it was.

Who is Eric?
Founder, Manager, and Cellist, Eric Cooper is known for his enormous sound and deeply rich and expressive tone. A New York City native, he began teaching himself the cello at the age of 12.
He has performed in all the major concert halls of NYC, including Carnegie Hall, Weill Recital Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Symphony Space, Merkin Concert Hall, and WMP Concert Hall. Cooper has also performed with two of the great all-African-American music festival orchestras; The Gateways Music Festival in Rochester, NY, and the Colour of Music Festival in Charleston, SC. He has appeared numerous times on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and has performed and recorded with several pop artists including Lauryn Hill, The Roots, Yolanda Adams, Adele, and Mac Miller. Cooper’s playing has taken him across the United States and across the globe to South
and Central America, Asia, the South Pacific, and Abu Dhabi.

We’ve got your back
If I could summarize Sterling Strings in one word, it would be "PERFECTION"! They were everything I hoped they would be. As a classical musician who also loves Hip-Hop, I dreamed about having a classical and pop music portion of my wedding. It was amazing to find a group that was very capable of both, and boy did they deliver!! In addition, the DJ I hired was running extremely late and they even were able to step up and cover some of his responsibilities as well. I would highly recommend them for any event!
